Biography:Cornelia li Britannia is the second princess of the Holy Britannian Empire, Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Army, and the second Viceroy of Area 11 in the series. She is extremely skilled in a Knightmare Frame combat, as is proven by her conquest of the Middle East, making it Area 18. Her personal knight is Gibert Guilford, who is known as the Spearhead of the Empire and her general is Darlton. When she first arrived in Area 11, she launches a military campaign against Zero, and the other terrorist groups she destroys most of the groups, except for the Black Knights. When Euphie starts talking to Zero and comes up with the Special Administrative Zone for the Japanese, Cornelia doesn't like the idea. She also did not like the idea of Euphie picking and Honorary Britannian as her personal Knight. When Euphie is Killed Cornelia takes it very hard. In the aftermath of the Rebellion, Cornelia is labeled MIA, because she goes underground to clear Euphie's name. She also learns that Zero is Lelouch, learning about geass in the process. While underground she learns about her father has ties to geass, and tries to bring Geass to the surface, but she is captured by V.V. and later on Lelouch. She helps Lelouch take down V.V. Siegfried using a damaged Akatsuki. Spoiler:She later escapes from Zero when Schneizel comes to tell the Black Knights who Zero really is. She joins Schneizel but is later shot by him, as she tries stopping him from destroying everything at one time. She is one of the few not taken for public execution, and helps to free the others that are.
Biography:Cornelia li Britannia is the second princess of the Holy Britannian Empire, as well as the Commander-in-Chief of the Britannian Military. She is an expert in Knightmare Frame combat, as is shown by her conquest of the Middle East, which became Area 18, before she came to Area 11. Close by her side is her personal knight Gilbert GP Guilford, known as the Spearhead of the Empire, and General Darlton. When she first arrives in Area 11, she launches a military campaign against all terrorists, namely the Japanese Liberation Front. Starting with the ghettos, she erases all traces of terrorists with her ruthless strategies. Lelouch tries to infiltrate her army, but his strategy is proven ineffective, and was about to be caught, until Zero (CC in disguise at the time) appears, causing a distraction. With that golden chance, Lelouch makes his escape. It is that defeat that caused Lelouch to form the Black Knights. Cornelia dotes on her sister, Euphemia, her only known weakness. Zero exploits that weakness when he finds out that Euphemia was captured by terorrists. As Zero was about to enter the hotel, he asks Cornelia, "Which do you choose, the Clovis who is dead, or Euphemia who is still alive?" She did not give an answer, and thus, let Zero pass through the gates. Corenlia then launches a full-scale surprise attack on their headquarters on Mt. Narita. The Black Knights uses this chance to make their move, as Zero has everything planned out. As the Britannian military was winning against the JLF, Zero causes a giant mudslide, destroying much of her forces. While secluded, she was about ot be captured by the Black Knights, until Suzaku rescues her. At first, she had doubts about the abilities of Elevens, but under the circumstances, she had to accept the fact that Suzaku's abilities are of a different caliper. Being worried about Euphemia, she asks her to take on a personal knight. However, Cornelia did not agree with the fact that she took Suzaku Kururugi, an honorary Britannian, as her personal knight. This caused much controversy in the ranks. Euphemia's reputation is further questioned when she establishes the Special Administrative Region of Japan, something that the Elevens liked at first. Somehow, intuitively, she knew that Zero was Lelouch, and asks that they work together. Zero agrees, and their plan was about to work, until his geass goes out of control, causing him to "accidentally" command Euphemia to kill all Japanese. Euphemia resists, of course, but geass commands are absolute, and she orders that all Japanese are killed. After Euphemia's death, Cornelia is grief stricken and stays silent for while. During the final battle, Cornelia and Zero had their showdown, but she was defeated by Darlton's surprise attack, under the influence of Lelouch's geass. Lelouch uses geass on her to explain his mother's death, only to find out that Cornelia knew nothing. In the second season, Cornelia wanders about, searching for answers that might clear Euphemia's name. She found the Geass Directorate, and killed several scientists, but is captured by the immortal VV. When the Black Knights attack the Directorate, Cornelia aides their assuault on VV with an Akatusuki. After that, she is captured by Zero and secrelty held captive until her rescue by Schneizel.
